The Mauka name meaning “Inland or Towards the Mountains” (Pronounced: Mow-Ka) was chosen to represent the Hawaiian Islands. Our Polynesian triangle logo symbolizes the balance of man, nature and the ocean with arrows that remind us to move forward with strength, confidence, and courage.
